Looks like a mic clone of the HD650. It says the driver and sound are essentially the same. Estimating its 310sgd shipped, the HD650 can be had for a little more.

I see... I intend to use it when out of the house, and getting an amp is another whole separate cost.:(
Maybe I'll pass on these

Need to go down to Jaben and listen to the 650 again. Chose the 600 over the 650 10 years ago, so totally forgot how they sound like.

They are supposed to scale up super well on the Schiit Jodie which I have.

You don't want to use these out of the house... These are fully open back, will leak sound like nobody's business.

Yep just read up on them. Btw, these are 300ohms. Consider an OTL tube amp to drive them. Tube amps are fun.

Well it's part of the package. You can't expect to get a top end headphones and expect it to sound good out of your smartphone or laptop.

Just like supercars are designed for high octane fuel, and high end GPUs are designed for high cap PSU, top end headphones need plenty of power to sound their best and you just can't get that from any smartphone or laptop.

If it sounds anything like the 600/650 you're probably getting an upgrade but expect way less soundstage 😣
