Hi

May I know what will happen in this scenario? I have dcs signed up with cdp to credit a sgd account and I buy a stock which declares a usd dividend. Will they just disburse the usd through dcs and do a fx?

Thanks

Wish to enquire:

1) I saw 2 pay date on YR 2016. Does it mean I will have 2 dividend payout?

2) on 2016-01-15, the amount if SGD 0.0452. Does this mean for every unit I owned, I will gain SGD 0.0452. Correct? In this case,

100 units = 100 * SGD 0.0452 = SGD 4.52 dividend payout?

For 1) Yes!:s12:
For 2) I guess the appropriate term is 'share' instead of units. If there is what you are referring to, answer is yes too :s12:

Most blue chips are safe bets if hold long term. Don't expect much appreciation of the counter but steady div every yr should be good enuf for passive income.

sph blue chip also, good or not?

Hi guys, are there any good performing stocks that pays dividend relatively well?

Reits but you are kinda late.
Can try HK if you don't mind FX and know how to research.

Question... what does multiple dividend means?

Do you have an example? Maybe I can look it up for you. Reits usually gives multiple dividends but it’s just simple addition.
