Q1. Is it normal for cavadoodle to hv dark pink skin colour? No sore, no wound, no flake or smell just tat the colour of the pink is rather dark, like diluted bandung colour.

Q2. Is there any natural method to make white coat less yellowish? Not keen to use those whitening shampoo.

TIA, vet.

1) I have to see the pic to understand what u are trying to say

2) Is your dog old? Did it change color recently or always has been yellowish?

My Frenchie hasn't been able to keep his water down after drinking. He's been regurgitating it within 30 mins, after small drinks.

Yesterday, he was worse, as he vomitted bile (yellow cloudy pools) and even some blood.

He's not been feeding as well since yesterday morning. We typically feed him twice a day, so he's skipped 3 meals so far. Yesterday evening he fasted.

He doesn't eat rubbish and we clear our bin everyday. He's not been out for the past week as well, so it's not something he ingested while we're out in the park.

We brought him to the vet yesterday afternoon, and were prescribed sulcrafate and antacid. Physical examination didn't yield any clues. After administering medication, he's not been able to keep it down and regurgitates again.

He managed to pee twice so far, late night and early this morning.

Current energy level is lethargic, compared to alert yesterday.

I'm intending to revisit the vet again later, if he still refuses to feed. But wanted to know what are the risk factors if he's not able to keep his water down for more than 2 days. I'm concerned about dehydration and possibly heat exhaustion risks.
Definitely in a brachycephalic dog I'd be concerned about heat exhaustion, dehydration is also a real threat if he cant hold down water.

Given the symptoms I'd be thinking of sending him to emergency and putting him on drip to tide it over. In the mean time, if I am the attending vet I would probably consider running X-rays, advance diagnostic imaging and blood tests.

Maybe he has megaesophagus?

X-rays weren't conclusive. Some odd ball-like shapes were seen, but we can't ascertain if it's a foreign object or just a part of the intestine.

He's dripped and provided with antibiotics, as his blood test (WBC) showed some inflammation of sorts.

We're going to do another round of x-rays I think later this morning to see if it yields positive clues about the ball-like shape we saw.

Me and my wife were recollecting our memories about possible items that resemble a ball-like object. We kinda think it might be a bell (2cm diameter) that went missing from his collar some 9-11 months back. Is it possible for a ingested bell to stay in him for so long before becoming a problem like we see now?

Abit unlikely to have foreign body obstruction from something he ate 9 months ago. Maybe consider ultrasound the dog to check for intussusception

Keep those test result.. X-ray, ultrasound.
If you want to go for 2ND option.. Can show the vet to avoid repeating do the test again.

Pet ownership transfer

I just adopted a 3 year old cat from a lady, she previously adopted her from SPCA in 2014.

I need advice on how to change the info of her microchip number, such that it will be under my name and contact details.

Also, I just brought my cat, Nana, to the vet today.

The doctor said she heard heart murmurs which could suggest a leakage in the heart?
I've asked her for the 2 clinics in Singapore that offer heart scans however she has not sent me the details as she's busy.

Anyone knows about these 2 clinics?

I could only remember 1 is in Thompson and the other in Serangoon.

One of it is called MOUNTpleasant veterinary group, the other is Pets Avenue Verterinary clinic (if I remember correctly)

Thanks in advance!

I dunno much about the system in Singapore but in Australia, there are only 2 databases for microchip ID and once you have proof of ownership, most vet clinics in Australia can change the details for you.

Most definitely Mt Pleasant will have such facilities, as far as I know they are the biggest vet group in Singapore

Cat no need to be licensed in Singapore.. So I think the only thing ex owner had to do is update with SPCA. I think SPCA will keep a record with the microchip number together.

And is best to ask ex-owner to write a ownership transfer letter as a proof?

Any vet practice would be able to update the info on her microchip, you just have to ask them.
I'm sorry I can't help with the 2 clinics. Hope that's not the case for her though. Good luck!

Go see Dr Sabine Bozon at Animal Recovery Centre at 466 Serangoon road. She's the cardio specialist. Very thorough and skilled. And very gentle in her touch. It's hard to book her time so call soon. I can't say much about the other vets. She sent her very detailed report to my other vet clinic for their review.

For the microchip, register with AVA, SPCA or Pet Call. There is no one database for cats.

What sort of advice? What are you asking specifically?
My Ranchu recently don't know own why got a white coat on the skin like it is trying to shed it's slime coat. He's not too active nowadays and i feel that his stomach is swelling. He's in a 30 litre tank with a suckerfish previously. Took out the suckerfish upon noticing it

Sent from A Bottle Of Knee Gel using GAGT

You may need to consult a vet with expertise in fish medicine, there is one guy http://www.thefishvet.com.au/ in Australia that will happily work with your regular vet to come up with a solution

A few things to consider for fish is the ammonia, pH, water temp or even external parasites. The swelling of the abdomen could be a lot of things but the first thing that comes to my mind is swim bladder infection.

You can get specialized dog toothbrush from pet shop and also doggy toothpaste. Dont use human ones

What do you mean by not effective? Post your doge's teeth pics from both sides
