If lpx try to get version 4.31 (hynix afr) or 4.24 (should be samsung non b die, mebe e/d, double banks). Both should have no problem hitting at least 2800/2933. :)

3.6GHz @ 1.21v @ 65 degree max load
3.7GHz @ 1.275v @ 70 degree max load

that is 5 degree for 0.1GHz increase. What do u guy think? Roll back to 3.6GHz? :D

my best is 3.95ghz Ryzen5 1600 @ 1.4v
I could push it up to 4ghz @ 1.45v but worry about stressing the cpu.
Currently running 3.925ghz @ 1.35v stable.

Using a water cooler for information.

Amd chips are known to be able to take d sticks (vcore) *note: not that i condone runnin high vcore for 24/7, quick bench session is ok to my book, what u need to worry more is d vrm of d board. Keep em cooled n u are good to go. :)

Trust me i really wish to but 3.6GHz to 4GHz aren't a big jump ingame :s13:

I have fallen back to 3.6GHz setting

Maybe like 5fps? Also depends on game. Some games are more CPU intensive especially running at 4k.

anyone buy Ryzen 7 from Amazon? 1700x and 1800x so much cheaper from Amazon. I still thinking should I get 1700 1700X or 1800X because I will only use low profile cooler like cryorig c7 for my NAS. Will 1700x or 1800x temperarture will be issue? I will not OC.

MB, I am thinking of Gigabyte AB350M-D3H

Bought the 1700 during a sales. Temp wise is okay for out of the box. Should be fine for the C7. Not too sure about the other 2 X-models as they are rated at 95W TDP instead of 65W TDP of the non-X model.

Cryorig C7 is rated 100W TDP. So should be able to handle all of them out of the box without any OC on it, though you can OC a little bit I believe as stock Wraith Spire is 95W TDP only but still can do a mild oc on 1600 and 1700.

Sent from PM me if you wanna build a DIY PC or wanna learn how to make one yourself :D using GAGT
