Can somebody recommend me a cheap notebook with a Nvidia 1050 with dedicated DDR5 memory? No 1050TI and above pls. Dun think my budget can cover that.

My current notebook with stock Intel HD4000 currently struggling with even the simplest game. Currently using it for old games mostly.

Thank you.

I'm honestly surprised no oen mentioned Aftershock's MX-15:

i5-7300HQ, 7200rpm 1TB HDD, 8gb ram, rgb keyboard, 1050 4gb dGPU, no OS for 1.1k.

1.2k for additional 120gb SSD. Similar to the Y520

More than fits your price if you ask me. Not even the lovely SCAMMER Courts/Hachi can sell you a laptop with those specs for that price. Saw Hachi selling a 970M laptop for 1.5k and labelled it 'BIG SALE'. Like REALLY? Are you guys at Courts/Challenger that stupid to think ppl will pay 1.5k for a shitty 970M? Funniest one was Hachi's 'Clearance' sales where they charged 2.6k for a XPS 13. W.O.W. No diff form the original price. Claps. I can fkin get it off amazon for 2k SGD and meanwhile the cheapest in SG goes for 2.6k sgd. What a joke la Hachi. You call that a deal?

No OS isnt an issue for me personally since you can easily install win 10 unactivated and use ALL win 10 features. Activated win 10 has no diff with unactivated other than the 'ugly' watermark and wallpaper customisation.

Or if you rlly wanna activate windows you can just buy a OEM key for 10 bucks off Carousell.

And the MX-15 has no difference from the MX-15 pro(1060) so you dont have to worry bout lower build quality. BUT rmb Aftershock has a horrendously long build time of two weeks or more when u order.

Ok thanks! Will look into it.

Things to remember if you ever consider AS:

1) Speakers are bad, but tbh at your budget range any other equivalent laptops you can find with similar specs(unlikely) have bad or worse speakers as a basic given

2) Delivery time is long, average 2 weeks or more, 1 week if you're damn lucky, duration starts from payment of deposit. Buy during sale, easily 2-3weeks lol

3) If you're not hard-pressed for a new laptop, can wait till AS announces their next sale date(xmas maybe) where they usually throw in a free SSD on top of the HDD

thank you. looked up the linked article, seems it stated "up to". will see what's the hdd size/ram offered tml.

btw, 1060 3gb will still be a good buy for the cef offer price?

depends on how much ssd it comes with. aftershock having a nice deal on its mx 15 pro. just upgrade the wifi card to 8265 from the base model and buy aftermarket 8gb ddr4 2nd hand if u need it. saves a lot of money.
