I think TitanFall 2 will be my last game from EA. :s13:

Sadly, BF4 is my last Battlefield game. Simply because moving forward, there will no longer be local servers. :( Makes a huge difference playing 3ms ping versus HK and Japan servers.

Greedy EA has ended 3rd party server rental. Now can only rent server directly from EA. Even if you rent an Asia server from EA, it's based in Japan. :s22:

the next thing they ban games due to the 'violence' factor...

its good that the lootboxes and microtransaction getting attention..but meddling by politician...thats always worse

Better to sacrifice one genre in gaming than to see all genres eventually become casino online. :(

Seriously if really have to choose between no more violence games to pray and all games becoming casino moi really no mind sacrifice violence for the common good of gaming. :(

US celebrating thanksgiving. No time to play game with you. lol.

Just joking, exit that match and rejoin a "old" one where people leaving already full ongoing matches. You are just being assigned to a new match since all the other matches are full, and being the last few players, it will be hard to fill.

The servers are atrocious, rubberbanding like crazy.

Update: Think they region/country lock the multiplayer today, you won't find any players online. Changing the ea account region won't help since it'll reset back to your place of origin.

good work everyone, keep it up! the war continues on multiple fronts!

Sales of Star Wars Battlefront 2 fell short of Electronic Arts’ expectations, and the publisher is citing the furor over the game’s microtransactions as the primary explanation, reports the Wall Street Journal.

EA sold about 9 million copies of Battlefront 2 during the three-month period from October-December 2017, the third quarter of EA’s 2018 fiscal year. (The game launched almost exactly halfway through the quarter, on Nov. 17, 2017.) That was about 1 million fewer than the 10 million copies that EA had expected to sell.

Blake Jorgensen, the company’s chief financial officer, told the Wall Street Journal that the publisher’s guidance calls for sales of another 1 million to 3 million copies by the fiscal year’s conclusion at the end of March. The higher end of that estimate would still put Battlefront 2 behind its predecessor — EA shipped more than 14 million units of the original Star Wars Battlefront in its 2016 fiscal year.

Revenue from Battlefront 2 to this point is also much lower than EA had wanted, since the company removed microtransactions from the game just before launch after they ignited a controversy among early players. It is not currently possible to buy “crystals,” the in-game currency, or loot crates.

EA said at launch that it would reinstate the microtransactions eventually. Jorgensen told the Wall Street Journal that in-game purchases will return “in the next few months,” although he said the publisher’s fourth-quarter guidance does not take them into account. The Wall Street Journal also notes that Jorgensen “blames the controversy in large part” for Battlefront 2’s sales shortfall.

Don't think EA really care. At most just close off dice nia. They are already focus on how to monetize their other IP like Bioware upcoming new game liao. If that also fail think they will close off Bioware too.

Anyway suay for EA, disney also showing their middle finger to SW fansee with the latest last jedi moobie thus causing many upset and didn't support SW merchandises this time round so less people buying SW toys and games.

Therefore the TFA effect that EA ish betting on didn't come through this time to help their sales. Last time after TFA many SW merchandises increased in sales, even EA years old MMO SWTOR at that time also benefited from sudden surge of subscriptions after the moobie. But this time round the love and passion ish no more.

TitanFall and TitanFall 2 are quite good games in my opinion but with Respawn merging with EA, I doubt there will be good games coming from them in the future.

BF1 --> Luckily, I didn't buy. Mass Effect: Andromeda was a bloody waste of money for me. :s8:

That why they keep getting away with all the anti-consumers and anti-gamers practice mah. There are still many daft and gullible out there continue to support their tactics. :(

Respawn dazes are considered numbered and so are the TitanFall franchises. The fate ish inevitable looking at wat happen to all studios and their IPs under EA so far. Even the once thought to be untouchable bioware also seem to anytime on the chopping board liao, very likely to ganna disband or downsized until near non-existence if their new IP anthem failed.
