Just an update to my screen auto press problem. Realized this only happens when I plug in my charger in my office which is a very old ill maintained place. Otherwise didnt have any auto pressing for the last week on my power bank or home charger as I rarely use my phone while charging at home also.

Not sure if its my phone components sth not isulated well or just my office wiring maybe.

Should not be a problem since you are using the adapter which would have regulated the current accordingly.

anyone facing this issue of mine?

When screen is set to auto rotate, there be a very slight lag when rotating the screen from portrait to landscape in chrome.

It seems like chrome refresh the screen for that split second everytime u rotate the phone, as the loading bar is present each time I rotate the screen

It is available for our U11 but you have to sideload it for now. The HTC U11 in Singapore will be CID: HTC__060, MID: 2PZC30000 (you can confirm on your own HTC U11 via adb getvar or fastboot getvar). These instructions are for bootloader locked, S-ON HTC U11 (i.e. stock, original phones).

Follow the sideload instructions from here (modify the filenames accordingly): https://developers.google.com/android/ota#instructions

If you need adb and fastboot exec, can you get it via the links here: https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools.html (USB driver link if you need them: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/usb_driver_r11-windows.zip)

The OTA update from 1.27.400.21 -> 2.31.400.6 is here (I suggest to download via the HTC link): https://forum.xda-developers.com/u1...u-firmware-t3612048/post74674442#post74674442

Any idea if i can do sideload using a chromebook? I have migrated away from mac and windows, since my needs are mostly met by a very cheap and efficient chromebook from the states.

Yes you can.

I have used ADB via Chromebook using this method before: http://www.omgchrome.com/chrome-adb-shell-brings-android-debugging-chromebooks/

There is another method on XDA which I have not tried personally: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38232908#post38232908

Happily bought a few soft transparent MIT covers in Taiwan for M10 & U11. Not cheap though. Most from 390NT to 690NT at xmd. There's one shop with quite good variety there, shop name PERC3. I added the shop on Google Maps liaoz :)

Is there anyone here who sent your U11 to the svc ctr, and your edge sense become ultra sensitive after that, even after setting to the lowest sensitivity? This happened to my unit, and despite repeated trips to the svc ctr and my phone spending more than a month there, they could not fix this issue and told me that I'm gripping the phone wrongly. (Btw I sent in the phone for another non related problem, but they returned the phone to me with the Edge Sense issue, which was not there previously.)

This is ridiculous as I know how the function behaved before sending it in, and it worked fine. Now, even just holding the phone normally in my hand will sometimes trigger the function, rendering it practically unusable. Anyways I've given up and will probably sell the phone. It's such a shame as I consider this the best phone of 2017, but the horrendous experience with their svc ctr has made me lose all faith in HTC.

What was the initial problem that you sent your phone to the service center?
