so you mean citibank smrt is better than scb spree coz 0.7% more for online without min spend right? :s11:

Yes.

May I know what is travel related ? Taking grab considered travel related for the Citi smrt one?

From the website:

Excludes all travel-related merchant worldwide whose main business activity are classified as: Airlines, Air Carriers (Merchant Category (MC) Code: 3000 to 3350 & 4511), Car Rental Agencies (MC Code: 3351 to 3500 & 7512), Lodging - Hotels, Motels, Resorts (MC Code: 3501 to 3999 & 7011), Travel Agencies and Tour Operators (MC Code: 4722), Passenger Railways, Taxicabs & Limousines, Bus Lines, Steamship & Cruise Lines, and Other Transportation Services (MC Code: 4112, 4121, 4131, 4411, 4789), Direct Marketing - Travel-Related Arrangement Services (MC Code: 5962).

Grab probably counts under taxicabs.

From T&C, i think it is a yes. But BOC family card has better rebate at 5%.

Thanks. BOC added the online cap though which I will hit every month already. Hence, looking for a suitable no min. spend card for the occasional Grab trip.

all the better rebate cards need min spending. Think best card for rebate for grab with no min spend is scb spree for 2%. For points/miles, there is dbs wwmc for 10xpoints, no min spending.

Yea based on my quick check and spending, think I can still use spree for grab. Prefer cash rebates as I usually go for cheapest / promo flights.

anyone got your cash rebate for the Dec (on 5th day for statement)?

Previously for SingPost, it will always be credited on 6th day of month. Now TnC changed?

Hi Zumaba,

My Dec cash rebate was reflected on the Dec hard copy statement, no change.
The best is to call CS to check lor.

Made 2 transactions amounting to $60.50 ($50.50 + $10) in my Jan statement. The cashback amount that I got is $1.02.

Can anyone enlighten me how is it possible to get this cashback amount? Trying to figure out how many percent cashback each of the transactions are entitled to. Please dont ask me what transactions those are.

maybe 50.50 are entitled 2%
the other $10 might not be entitled to any rebates at all. 1% is for retail spend, so if the other not recognise as retail spend like ezlink top up , it is possible u get $1.02 ($1.01 but sc often has this 0.01 difference for me)
