Too bad SG didn't have an agreement so emailing them is best, their website info lacking

These days best to secure a job offer to be successful
Or go there study a cert and look for job. Better chance if u can secure a job

Have you tried applying through express entry scheme?

Does express entry has a more relax requirement

It doesn't need you to find a job there first. But they look at your background, education, type of job you holding, ielts score and see whether you eligible for next round of application. if you pass this, then the next round of application is for you to fill in details about your education etc..then you need to verify your education qualification by getting statement of results from MOE for a level and Uni for degree or grad degree. after that, you have to send to WES, a centre in Canada to verify the results. This second round of application, they will score you differently and on a bigger scale, in terms of 0 up to 2000+. They have a cut-off point for each window of intake. Currently, its about 450+-.
Best to apply as couple. and do it while you are +-30 years old. as you age, your point for age category drops 5 points.
You can also try to call up an immigration consultant and meet up to understand more about the procedure. It is very useful because they tell you the procedures and help you calculate the score that you have.

Me and my SO have been considering migrating and Canada is one of the options because we have friends over there.

Seedly recently posted an article on migrating overseas and Canada is one of the countries. It's a good read if you just started thinking bout migrating! :)

Edit: The article is called 'Migrating out of Singapore'
well that blog wasn't a good one, imho. could spot many misleading information

I have to agree this blog is week. Please do your your research

https://blog.seedly.sg/how-migrate-out-singapore-occupations-salary/

yeah it is not accurate at all

https://blog.seedly.sg/how-migrate-out-singapore-occupations-salary/

The average salary in Australia would be $76,000 AUD. With the current exchange rate being 1 SGD=0.98 AUD, you would be earning approximately $77,550 SGD annually. Income tax for the average individual is approximately 45%, that means your take-home salary would be $ 41,800 AUD or $42,650 SGD.

based on an annual salary of 76k aud, the tax is 24% + , not 45% , that is such a lie !
