Bro adrian, IMO you should put Plextor optical drives up for the extreme system category. Just my 2 cents. ;)

Which model & price?

Most people are going for BenQ 1640, LG 4613 & Pioneer right?

Any other recommendations?

You need to see an optician :s13: :D

Under budget system you will see the AMD Athlon64 3000+ . You can replace the 3000+ with a 3200+, 3500+ .............

Why mostly all recommend the MSI boards?? Why not others ?

No special reasons lah

Actually I prefer DFI :D

But you can find Abit, ASUS DFI etc in DIY section of the buyers guide

Here's RAM GUYS response.

First thing, I am sorry but you will never be able to run at 275 Mhz with 4 modules on any MB. And this MB will do good to run at 250 Mhz with one set of modules depending on the CPU you have. Not to mention with this platform if you use more that 2 modules you may need to run the memory at DDR333 as well....

new games like Splinter cell chaos theory support SM3.0

ATi only has SM2.0 at this moment.....

games will most likely have backward compatibility but you cant see some eye candy thats all

Newbie need help

Intel or AMD is better? I need a PC that can play WoW, Dota & Battlefield. My current PC is DELL package. I not really sure how to see spec but this is what it says in "System".

Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz
1.99GHz, 128MB or RAM

I saw the gaming list you create but its really costly. Any idea how to help me anyone?
