Napoleon Hill's Laws of Success.

Most other self-help books are based on on stuff written there, including the one you mentioned.

Yea, Napoleon Hill is good. I'm almost done with Think and Grow Rich. Teaches a lot about fundamental disciplines to take on.

Try this:
Happiness: A guide to developing life's most important skill
by Matthieu Ricard.

Ricard is a buddhist monk. He's 'scientifically tested' to be the happiest person. Learn from the best. Have a read. :)

The science of getting rich
Think and grow rich
The strangest secret in the world
The secret

The above 4 books share almost the same common idea, but the authors phrased them differently.

And "Bounce" by Matthew Syed.. my personal favourite that I wished I had read 10 years ago.

Hmm how about Self-Improvement 101: What every leader needs to know? Or Money Matters:It's either working for you or some! William Thomason's Make money work foryou-instead of you working for it is not bad too :) You can find these books easily online like amazon and acmamall.com

Just read 2 chapters of The four agreements and gave up.

The author seems to be high on drugs (adding a lot of his glossary of terms) and nothing written seems to be fact/evidence based.
