Appreciating the Seasons in the UK

For those who have only ever lived in perennially hot and humid SG, here is just a little insight into what the wonderful four seasons of the UK have to offer.

First off, one of my favourite websites, learning to eat food that is in season, every season:

http://eattheseasons.co.uk/

Next, two admittedly quite random websites appreciating the current (winter) season:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/natureuk/...-and-the.shtml

The comments in the second link give you an insight into the daily lives of people enjoying the current season. Worth reading!

One of the wallpapers in the first link is the beautiful robin with its orange breast; a very pretty bird that we saw often in the parks when we were living in the UK. It is these little wonders of nature that cheer us up in life.

Happy browsing and wishing everyone a pleasant weekend in preparation for the Christmas season!
