worth it or not huh? at least Maybank Horizon Plat no need pay to convert.. :s22:

FAQs - DBS Credit Card Redemption, Points, Rewards etc. | DBS Bank Singapore

How do I convert DBS Points to air miles?
Simply enroll in the DBS Frequent Flyer Programme. This allows you to convert your DBS Points into KrisFlyer or Asia Miles. Only Principal Cardmembers can enroll and there is an annual fee of S$40 (excl. GST) which will be charged to your Credit Card. Air miles transfer is at the conversion rate of 1 DBS Point to 2 miles. Transfers are accepted in blocks of 5,000 DBS Points (or 10,000 miles).
Once you're enrolled, there are no further charges and you can effect the conversion of DBS Points to air miles within the year as many times as you wish.

Please note that the transfer process takes approximately 1 - 2 weeks.

You earn 2X UNI$, or 2 UNI$ per $5 transaction. This translates to 0.8 miles per $. There are so many cards that offer more miles per $, including
- UOB PRVI Miles Amex (1.6 miles per $)
- ANZ Travel Visa (1.4 miles per $)
- Citibank Premiermiles (1.2 miles per $)
- DBS Altitude Visa/Amex (1.2 miles per $ for 1st $2k per month, 1.6 miles per $ for charges above $2k)

Honestly, you could be earning a lot more miles using any of those cards.

Thank you for the summary! I will consider!!

Got a call from DBS promoting this Lady card

Rec'd a call from DBS promoting this lady card to be given without any application becos I have been holding the Everyday card for more than a couple of years.

Is this card worthwhile hving? I'm restricting myself to have too many cards on hand because I seldom used them and recently I keep forgetting to pay for the outstanding haha.... been fine often enough.

Anyone tried using it to buy stuff at Amazon already? Does it qualify for the 10x points? And online transactions can be in local currency too? Cos most cards require it to be in a foreign currency for bonus points

technically speaking yes.

so far for Citibank Clear Card (5x Citi Dollars)

as long as it is charged by merchant online in full, it will count.

DBS should be somewhat similar

By right, no.

By left, got ways to do it. ;) Just apply through DBS internet banking.

Depends on what merchant code the portal is using. What bill payment are you thinking of?
