I think I saw MS posting on their FB that it has arrived and that they are selling it for $800. Pity that the version in Singapore does not come with LTE.

The irony is that they actually have LTE version of this phone. I wonder why they are not releasing that for sale in Singapore.

We know Sony phones are not selling well in local.
That explains for lack of T/TX.

HTC should also be same situation. Seeing lesser HTC phones around recently.

Telecom is bringing in butterfly 3G is because this is the first handset to bring something diff to the local market, the first full-hd display with good cpu and gpu.

TX/T on the other hand have nothing much to offer, in a market that already fulled with similar specs.

I disagree. Telco brought in more sammy phones as they think it will sell well due to more people adopting sammy over fruity. Obviously HTC is still selling more phones in local compared to Sony, to explain the availability of certain phones.

Its all about business, no demand - no sales. :D

It also looks like fruity is feeling the heat without SJ.

They stopped being innovative. From screen size to build quality, its not up to the standards of a phone worth over 1k.

All about business. T/TX doesn't bring anything much to the market. Can see why it was not on sales. You already said it yourself anyway. ;)

If you solely insisting anything new to the market, I dont see fruity 3gs and 4s making any new groundbreaking stuffs to its predecessor.

Now this answer yours. :D

4S was using dual core cpu and gpu, a first for iphone. Performance wise is much better than previous 4. Xperia V brings IP57 cert phone into the market, something that not many handsets locally have this feature. Like you said, Sony doesn't sell alot here, having a IP57 cert phone makes it stand out among others.

Technologies in a phone is one of the stuff telcos consider when selling. They don't just sell blindly.
