what i meant is far from firmware issue.
is hardware issue.
unable to power up, wireless not working and etc.
When I saw the insides of the router I already know got problem already.
There is no way you see routers mounting such a big heatsink.
The only reason you need such a big heatsink is that it is heavily overclocked. IMO a passive heatsink won't cut it especially if there is no air circulation.
