i think u can only compare sub $200 iems with this..

Lol am I getting my hopes too high :o I comparing technicality wise.. since both are dual drivers just that one has dynamic for the lows the other is BA. :s12: SE 215 sounds very muddy and blur compared to this though IMO.

So kevin, any idea when will the next batch of shipment arrive?

It is expected to leave lab roughly early next week. This shipment contains mostly orders placed directly with us.

I think it is fair to compare with other models as long as it is 2way crossover, regardless of dual or triple drivers.

you think i thought who confirm? Have you even heard it yourself?

I've heard the elpis and most of the iems in sub $200 category.

If comparing technically wise, elpis is definitely better especially with the lune.
imo SE215 is technically pretty bad.
BA200 still can fight.

Tbh I still haven heard the ba200 yet LOL. Many say that it's similar to the um3x.. Ya the se215 is srsly muddy to my ears. So if liddat it seems that the elpis is a way better value than the jh5.. Wonder any bros here have the jh5 pros and ordered the elpis too?

So kevin, I assume only the elpis order under your site will be shipped next week and not the other CIEM orders?

I think direct competition for elpis will be SF 5 EB
it is totally the same configuration

Tf10 should be good comparison also as both of them have the very V shape sound

ya it doesn't really sound like tf10, it has it's own unique signature imo.
Frankly speaking it's quite coloured.

If it don't sound like the very ear fatigue Tf10 then maybe there's hope for this , But i am very worried of the roll off mid range, but watever i got other CIEM for mid's, just use this for thrash metal/visual Kei and general english pop, the everyday throw around CIEM for heavy duty use....

Are elpis using the same 13mm DD as SF5EB??

Dono if I should sell my SF5EB to fund for Elpis or reshell it instead?

I have not heard the elpis yet btw...

Kevin any inputs?

The Elpis uses a smaller DD than 5EB.

I would recommend to add in one high range driver into your 5EB and convert to 3 way crossover, this option is hugely popular in Japan according to Rooth.
