the 925 is an interim phone, the 1020 is the true successor to the 920

1020 all the way

More like a true successor to the 808 Pureview, the 41MP monster phone but now with OIS!!

I kinda feel it will come out in SG in around Q4 2013, which is another long wait...=(

Not just OIS BUT OIS 2.0 too! Its now magnetically levitated as compared to springs on the 920.
On top of that there's backside illumination too, something missing in 808!

Lastly, its made a lot thinner than 808.

Yet a lot more powerful than the Pureview 808.

CPU : Snapdragon S4 Plus.

Basically it's the same specs as the Lumia 920, but with 2gb of RAM.
I want this phone so badly now. I'm so into photography lately, and the Lumia 1020 will definitely come in handy in my day to day shots..

I'm also digging the AMOLED screen. Had a loan from from Nokia Care while my 920 was under repair, I really liked the AMOLED on the 800. Furthermore, we can tweak the color profiles to our liking on the Amber software.. :)

I wrote a blog entry on the Lumia 1020, hope you bros here can give it a read and comment!

god :( I hate the AMOLED on my old Lumia 800/900..
Every time I look at the awesome white background of my Lumia 920, and then look back on 800/900 it just feel horrible..

My 2 year old 800 and 1 year old 900's AMOLED screen is yellowish/brownish.

I'll post up a picture in a moment... 800, 900, 720, 920, HTC Trophy 7

I see.. Haven't really lived with a phone with AMOLED screen for a long period of time. But I kinda fell in love with the blacks and saturation while using the 800. When I got back the 920, I felt that my blue theme was so washed out!

what worries me is the smaller sensor size 1/1.5 on 1020 than 1/1.2 on 808PV, it is still unknown which phone is the best camera phone

there's a link that showed that despite the smaller sensor, the 1020 does take picture of similar or even better quality than the pure view 808 !

it is still unknown, i wait for the camera shootout from trusted site like allaboutsymbian

phone design look very much like 800, pity that large bezel at the bottom.

Ibodnano talking something sensible? forget about it...
I think its best that you go back to Symbian, Android... isn't it the best OS? GTFO
