Eggs and cholesterol are a ridiculously over-hyped myth. It's saturated fats you want to avoid in order to maintain a healthy blood cholesterol. Yes, there is cholesterol present in significant quantities in eggs. But this doesn't directly translate into blood-level cholesterol.

In summary, dietary cholesterol =/= blood level cholesterol, not by a damn sight. I personally have been eating 12 whole eggs (yolk and all) a day almost everyday for the past 3 months and I'm in the best shape of my life. Excellent source of affordable quality protein, particularly for vegetarians like myself. That's 80 grams of protein right there, and with two whey scoops a day on top of that it brings me close enough to 130 grams. All with effortless ease too. I get the rest of the 40 grams from vegetables like legumes/lentils/nuts/quinoa, or tofu if I'm lazy (a frequent occurrence). Last resort is milk, but I tend to avoid that as it doesn't sit well with my stomach for some reason.
