On paper camera should be better than G2 but we'll see.
LG launches LG G Pro 2 phablet with 4k video: Connect

Like the G2 and Optimus G Pro the G Pro 2 captures 13MP images - but according to the press release, the sensors of both rear and front cameras have increased in size. Unfortunately the size increase has not been quantified, but we will update this story as soon as we get further information.

Apart from the larger sensors, the new optical image stabilization system sounds promising. OIS+ combines optical IS with digital IS to achieve even more stable handheld shooting and smoother video. Other new camera features include the following:

- 120fps HD slow motion video
- 4K video recording
- Magic Focus allows you to select the focus point in an image after it has been taken, similar to Nokia's Refocus app or the Lytro lightfield camera
- Natural Flash aims for a more natural white balance when taking flash pictures
- Flash for Selfie reduces the size of the preview screen and uses most of the screen as a soft white light to illuminate your self-portrait
- Burst Shot takes up to 20 shots in a burst and automatically edits them to create a video of the captured images
- Gallery Collage lets you create collages from images you select in your gallery

LG should have called this G3 or G2 Mega and not G Pro 2 as two prominent design features in G Pro is missing in G Pro 2.This phone resembles more like G2. The colourful led light home button and the touch buttons on the lower bezel are taken out. Thats very sad. The touch buttons on the screen are taking up unnecessary screen space. And its a wastage of empty lower bezel space on the left and right of LG logo.

With the phone so big, can one still comfortably reach the buttons on the back of the phone..?

Must wait until I try a real set, especially the OIS+ camera before deciding to get it or not. ;)

Currently on Note 3.

I hope LG can declutter the pull-down status bar for this phone. Its horrible on the G2. Half the status bar filled with icons?!?!

Phones announced at MWC won't be so fast reach here, probably another quarter at least.

unless samsung surprised us with a radically changed s5, this phone is the only phone worth waiting for, yet. Hope the battery can last at least as long as my G2.
