The Sony SBH 80

Designed to be worn and used all day and in any situation, the SBH80 is discreet and suits any type of clothing style. Wear it at work, at home, indoors or outdoors. The main unit and headphone exterior are splash-proof so you don’t have to worry if it rains. Worn on the neck, this Bluetooth® wireless headset is perfectly balanced; two ultra-thin smart-memory metal strips rest lightly on your shoulders. You hardly know it’s there. The SBH80 adapts itself to your body and stays there.

What a good way and indirect way to post your thread on any new products but doing advertising in your signature in the thread you post. :s13:

Just like how u "claimed" to be the best friend for jimmy38 and post advert freely which I see in no sense why do you need to chop Carlover76 initial on your photo(usually seller Wil do that). Ppl do talk and pass info around which you are fortunate that I get to advice them to not act against you as u need to cater to your own bread and butter..(u have a family to take care and I seriously do take that into consideration as I know it's not easy in spore) since we are all here to survive. So you do your ways and I do mine. It will be best.

Ps: stirring doesn't work here. These are old tactics. Try think how to find ways to post constructive comments instead of stirring on my expense.

Official is 188. Non official is 160 to 170.

Aiyah I just bought the NC31EM for $78. I thought forumers say the NC3IEM is the only headset to take advantage of Z2 noise cancellation function ?

I bought just because of that ...

if you like to listen to quality music stick to your NC31 as wired headsets only provide clear sound even if the music s 320KBPS except BT headsets which are aptX enabled like the MD1R all BT headsets compress the music to 128KBPS so if you have flac on your phone BT headsets are absolutely waste

I've been reading a number of positive reviews on the SBH80 and so i bought one to try with my Xperia ZL. Its a comfortable headset that can be worn all day. Its hassle free, easy to pair and everything works right out of the box. My only gripe about it, its sound quality. Yes, there's some decent low bass as mentioned by many reviewers. However, the general sound quality is a little bright and teeny, a trait that i would associate with a small driver/speaker setup. In addition, with the volume at the max, its still not very loud. This is in comparison to the SBH20 which i am using with AKG K319 earbuds. Though the K319 earbuds cannot reproduce freq as low as the in-ear setup of the SBH80, the sound is warmer, with much better mids and highs. Volume can be turned up a few notches above the SBH80 as well. My 2 cents on the SBH80.

thanks for the critical review. to me no matter what headset. the bass is very important.

we dun just use it for calls only now. many of us use it for movies mp3 and games.

so i think a bluetooth headset that cost $188 need to prove the sound quality are top notch.

think i will just wait for a better one.

Dont need to wait. Instead of the SBH80, get the SBH20. With the $$$ saved, u can pick whichever ear phones that appeals to u. This combo will give u the best sound quality.

not bad but very scary to wear this expensive set during exercise.

the wires to the earphones look so fragile and doesnt look like u can replace them if spoilt.

one wrong move, u pull it too hard and they'll spoil easily.

and there goes $188
