I dunno where to post. But ppl who stay in Bishan, pls help to keep a lookout for this culprit :

"writing this email on behalf of mdm lily wee as she is illiterate. She mentioned that:
The said suspect in the police report had been spraying insecticide on
the cat food on several occasions and as a result, the cat food have been
left*untouched. She caught him red handed on 18/5/14 and when confronted
she was also sprayed by the suspect. She is afraid that he might do it again,
as she was warned by him not to feed strays. She hoped that the relevant
authorities will take actions by viewing the cctv on the said date and step up*
police surveillance around the said surrounding blocks.(blks 153-167A Bishan st 13)

Thank you. Regards , ms quek, on behalf of Mdm Lily Wee"

Refrain from posting location of the cats, we want them safe.
Glad to see so many people appreciating our local strays....but can we take down & try not to post pictures of cats which may compromise their safety. Especially those of cats sitting on cars or other vehicles.

There has been many cases of cat haters pressurizing the authorities to cull them. Almost all the time it's nothing but they will blow it up, post on on stomp claiming their vehicles got damaged & all sorts of stories. It could be vandalism or even nothing but the cat was the most convenient scapegoat.

There was an incident reported on stomp recently. The kaypoh wanted the cat removed because he saw it sitting on other people's car. Not even his own. The animal welfare groups have their hands full dealing with these clowns already, reducing their resources for other rescue work.
