Was at the official Samsung FB event just now at limehouse. The screen of the tab s really differs from tab pro. Now deciding to get tab s or tab pro 8.4.

Oh and hello to the EDMWer who recognised me and said hello to me. Sorry la i shy. Lol.

Did you ask about the burn in screen issues on AMOLED after using long hours? Have they fixed it with some magic numbers.

I just seen the price tag for tab s 8.4 woot is more expensive than pro 8.4 lte version... what a big price tag... another hundred can get note 10.1 2014.

I was at the PC show, and was struggling to get the 8.4 tab pro when I saw hordes of people grabbing and queuing for it.

Luckily my senses took control of me, and I am now going for 10.5".

Just to share some of the info heard form the fan event just now,

1) 8.4 will be 16GB only, 10.1 will have 32GB

2) our version is exynos... not snapdragon 800

Its light, its thin, its super sexy... a bit lag on the launcher still but bearable I guess.

3) side bezel is a bit thin... cannot hold it with thumb pressing down, sure will hit the screen.

4) official launch next saturday, price never mentioned.

5) the book cover is nice, fitting nicely yet not adding a lot of weight.

6) The screen really wow...

Thanks for the short sweet info it really helps alot in looking at my tab pro vs the latest device. Not say it is not good just personal preference that I do like 8.4 inch and cannot wait for the tab s as well the price line therefore get the tab pro instead.

Iirc the LTE variant is powered by SD800, used in the model SM-T705.

Both Tab Pro 8.4 and Tab S 8.4 use same SD800?
Wonder the performance comparison.

I asked specifically cause her slides shows Exynos, and she confirmed that we will get Exynos and not SD.

Unless her info is wrong tho...

I think that the Snapdragon is for the LTE version since the Exynos probably can't handle LTE yet.

Yes, that info is correct - we've triple checked that weeks ago.
These tablets will come with the Exynos processors.

I recall checking if it supports LTE and the answer was yes cause this is a new revision that has LTE support. I hope that bit wasn't incorrect.
