GR is a very awesome camera for the money. One of those hidden gems.
I just read the reviews.
Good choice.
And yes my dslr has eaten me out of budget on occasion.

Cheapest APS-c cam! It was either this or x100s but the fuji is nearly 2x the price and more cumbersome. So... Wow the GR is like a dslr in a compact.

Hello all,

I am currently residing in the UK, where many good brands of DE razors/feather blades reside. Thinking of talking to the guys at the street for bulk purchase discount. Just an interest check, if theres any bros who want brands like Edwin Jagger/Taylors of the Old Bond Street, do give me a pm so I can gauge if it is worth bringing back to SG. Of course, the price would be better than online and there will be negligible shipping cost.

I can't get mine to work - too stiff. But now I am wondering if mine is a dud rather than the norm. How's yours?

Yes mine is this as shown. I put mine through several hot sun drying cycles before, to splinter the tips some. Backbone wise I don't find it stiff but density relatively sparse compared to semogue. Knot doesn't bloom though.

M has a few banded boar. You should try banded boar. Omega also produces makeup n painting brushes, so their brushes are tighter and more suited for painting lather.

Truth be told, I have a range from floppy (pure badger vulfix), to mid (omega 1006x series, semogue 830) and quite strong (mistura). The 77 takes the cake - stands ramrod straight and it is uncomfortable for face lathering.

In my collection, the Sephora pure badger and Omega S-brush both take the cake for face lather discomfort. Former for scratch, latter for backbone.
