i have tried se 535 as i see review that it is near to 1964 v6(which i see people said is quite a good ciem), however i dun really like the feel of it.

JHaudio JH13Pro Frephase
UE11
Noble 4C

Hi guys,

Finally decided to jump in and get some CIEMs. Bought a pair of JH16 FreqPhase to reshell. Any suggestion on where to do it? I tried them already, quite like the sound, wonder if reshell will affect the sound a lot. Can't wear these for long w/o reshelling.

I know UM can do the reshelling (at stereo, right?). Any other options? Any suggestions on where to do ear impressions?

Thanks a lot for your info/help.

Cheers!

You can consider doing it through Null Audio.

Personally I would prefer having a professional audiologist handle the ear impressions for me.

Some people have sensitive ears and when the silicone material is injected into the ear canal, some people may cringe or make funny facial expressions which would affect the shape of the ear canal and therefore, the shape of the ear impressions.

Audiologist are well versed with how the human works and would be able to take the steps necessary to rectify such issues.

If do with UM (stereo), can make appt go to the hearing centre at taka to make impressions (around $50-60), then go stereo. Convenient enough.

Okay, my ears aren't very sensitive I guess, but will keep this in mind.

Thanks for the info. Might look for them if I go for reshelling at Stereo.

BTW, any one has done reshelling at null audio? How's the experience and quality? I'm sure UM can do proper job, but it's good to know some alternatives.

Thanks again for the info :)

I am sure many bros here can share their experience with you.

The most important thing is throughout the whole ear impressions process, if possible, remain motionless like a statue.
