This is excellent. Wish more smartphone makers actually would go for function over form.

As a current Z1C owner, don't think web surfing can exceed >10 hours on any phones.. Only getting max 8 hours now, and that is with stamina and low battery mode on.

Anyway I think I will still be getting it, the turquoise color looks really nice! But if Moto X is coming to Singapore, that will be another story..

The major differences of battery life between Z1 and Z3 is probably the higher standby time and couple of hours more for videos.

Still waiting to try a demo unit..

Tmrw is media release and hoepfully by the end of the week we could see it in the telcos. Not sure if it would get the needed attention, as the attention would be grabbed by Note 4 and FruitSlab.

Tough decision to make, need a one handed use phone, yet dont want to give up the 5"

Saw in the Z3 thread that the initial price for the Z3 will be 998. Has anyone already heard a price for the Z3 Compact?

I suspect it could be between $690 to $790...and in retail market it could be priced at $650

Hmmm, you can preorder in UK for about SGD600, which will be about SGD700 after shipping and import costs. If they decide to price it around 750 here I will just go and buy local. Hope they announce the pricing at the event tomorrow.

Price from UK is indeed interesting, but scared of the warranty. Generally it is good to buy with warranty, as my Z1 motherboard passed off in 6 months. So far the Z2 is going fine for me.

Agree, for 30-50 bucks I will not risk it. I think it should be ok, but probably you will just lose your phone for quite some time when sth is wrong with it. Then again, I read that Sony SG is also not great with their service...

z3c design is like z3 right??? from the photo, i can't tell if z3c design look like z2 or z3.

i prefer z3's design. so i hope z3c will have z3 design instead of z2

Seems about right time to upgrade my og Xperia Z. Just hope the back glass wont have any peeling off issues like mine. Anyone face the same issues be it with Z1, Z1c or Z2?

Have to say that the video quality is extremely disappointing. Check the btekt video comparisons with Samsung alpha and iPhone 5s on YouTube. It looks horrible!
