Have stayed before few hotels find that at least clean :)
go sleep, diary of taipei, ecfa - all under same boss, room layout and design about the same. most of them no own hotel building. some rooms have bath tub
weekday booked @ 45sgd to 60sgd per nite with breakfast for two
weekend, the price might be at least x2 .

YOMI - 10min walk from shuanglian train station. service very good. free loan of wifi devices, so no need buy data sim card. Stayed family room, have bath tub 26m2 in size. booked at 135sgd per nite for four with breakfast

ezbookers - hotel is just 1min walk from zhongxiao station. room simple with less than 10 rooms. booked at 65sgd weekend no breakfast.

itrip inn - looks new, 42inch tv, location near world gym, behind amba building. stayed business room, have bath tub . weekday cheapest abt 68sgd per nite for two with breakfsat

royal seasons - 15min walk from xmd and tms train station
luckily the hotel provide shuttle van to those stations.
room 23m2 have jacuzzi bath tub
booked at 100+sgd per nite for two with breakfast

Which hotel good for elderly which have problem walking so they can avoid climbing stairs? So far I only stay in Zhongxiao Dunhua apartment whenever I am TP so not sure which hotels are good though.. Seems that 45 to 60 a night is cheap..

depends on which date and day you going.
if fri to sun, the price normally expensive.
for xmd case, 3 stars hotel that days should be abt 90+ to 100+ per nite ...

think can cab around better ...
then no need climb up the stairs to take train ...

trying to book hotel for jan period, 1st week of jan.

How come the hotel pricing higher than those listed by other traveller?

Is it too early to book?

Any recommendation where to stay in Taipei? We are looking to take the bus to the airport.

maybe lesser room left?
most people would stay at taipei main station or ximending...
however, if you want cheaper choice, can stay other places.
have stayed some hotels, that is located near to mrt station at zhongxiao area.
hotel is just 3min walk from mrt station, price is abt 60+ on weekends, compared to xmd as high as 85 to 120+ for 3 stars hotel ..

taipei main station is like KL sentral, our local city hall, where most trains would be there ... is located one stop from Ximending area ...
