1) Norton Internet Security 2011
![]() Pros : Very easy to install and use. Most tasks run in idle time. Statistical detection reveals brand-new viruses. Top score in malware removal test. Additional virus cleanup tools. Intelligent firewall. Blocks exploits. Best antiphishing. Excellent password/identity management. Full-featured parental control. Small impact on performance. Proactive performance warnings. Cons : Spam filter missed more spam than last year. Charts and numerous settings may confuse some users. Network map doesn't allow remote configuration. 2) Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 ![]() Pros: tough, intelligent, automated firewall actively blocks exploits. Praised by independent antivirus labs. Sandbox protects system files and sensitive surfing. Comprehensive parental control system. Minimal system performance. Cons: Didn't reach expectations in my malware-removal tests. Antispam allowed many spam messages into Inbox. Performed poorly in antiphishing tests. 3) Panda Internet Security 2011 ![]() Pros: Scores well in antivirus lab testing. Full remote management. Easy antispam protection. Private data protection. Parental control now associated with Windows accounts. Simple local backup; online backup through Mozy. Cons : Firewall vulnerable to simple attack. Phishing protection less effective than IE alone. Parental control limited to website filtering. Less effective than expected in hands-on anti-malware tests. 4) Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2011 Pros : ![]() Flexible backup and synchronization system with 10 GB of online storage. Blocks dangerous websites. Rates links in search results. Firewall blocked and identified many exploits in testing. Simple parental control. Accurate spam filter. Low impact on performance. Many security-related bonus tools. Cons : Antivirus focuses on current threats, misses even slightly older threats. Poor phishing protection. Parental control easily hacked. Antispam works only with specific e-mail clients. Overall in detection rate and others chart: ![]() Seems like norton internet security is top for 2011 and outperforming most of the other suites with kaspersky coming in close at second More info on all security suites here : http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2369749,00.asp# and http://www.toptenreviews.com/interne...-suite-review/ due to space constrains i can only put 4 , doesn't mean others isn't up to standard or what . put the 4 most popular Suites for 2011. I am using Kaspersky IS. Both Kaspersky and NOD32 (ESET) are getting rave reviews.
If you have a powerful processor, I suggest you go for Kaspersky. If you have lower-end hardarwe, ESET security should be better. ![]()
