I know there's a korean song back then copied by thai singers.
Anyway, chinese songs copy thai/korean/japanese songs, actual tune and rhyme ...

Especially now so many singers from chinese singing competitions, there's not much original ...
Last time in the Shi Xin Hui Album, I heard a chinese song copied from a 1993 Japan Hit Song with the same tune and music, not much originality at all.

At least for Japanese, there's one song called "endless story" that made hit, the original is english but it get remixed and sounds much much better.
