There are some simple rules.

I have probs creating a new ad. After I have entered all the details in Step 2...I could not proceed onto Step 3 as there's a prompt asking me to enter my details in "Describe Your Listing". I have tried a few times but I got the same results. What is wrong?

I think there is an unknown bug in the Editor which sometimes happen.

Log in
Pull down menu on "My Ad Listings"
Choose "My Live Ads List"
Find ad you want to delete
Locate the Trash Bin Icon on the bottom right of each ad unit.
Click the Trash Bin Icon
Click Ok to delete (Note that this action cannot be undone)

These conmen operate out of Romania. I tried to buy an iPhone and became suspicious when they could not provide me a account number for SquareTrade, an ebay online sales guarantee service. And when I insisted, a recycled eBay email arrived 5 mins later! Gosh, is eBay ever so efficient? Anyway, it was recycled and had the wrong name on it.

They tried to get me to pay by Western Union, which would make it impossible to retrive my money once they collected it and used time pressure techniques to close the sale e.g. They needed to deliver within the day or the product will not get to me in time.

Please black list them!

Online purchasers beware of people using Western Union as there is no way to get your money back, once it is collected.

How stable is MySQL for this? There seems to be a connection problem with the mysql server... unless you guys are getting too much traffic. I see you're running a Linux server and Apache, which are pretty robust in themselves.. unless you're really short of RAM and disk space?

The people who posted this ad had have stolen my identity and are using my name and one of my former addresses to promote a loan company that probably doesn't even exist. I do not own a loan company, and I have nothing to do with anyone associated with this company. The PHing site is getting slower and slower to load. It is a headache just to edit or post ads.

And the following problems have been around for a long time:
- in viewing live ads, all ads will disappear when mouse cursor is rolled over to a link. You have to mouse-over to the 'read more' for the ads to re-appear;
- after you click delete ad, the 'deleting' is too long;
- many times compilation error, etc.

Is the administrator doing something about this?

This seller claims he has sets of phone for sale, so once contact, he will send u a fake ebay invoice as the payment instruction( to send by western union).

I have once sent him payment for unlock N95 8GB, so once he recieved payment he will replied that thers's some problem with supplier side n u need to order min 2 set to get the goods then he will offer u lower price for 2nd set. below r some details of the email:

For your information, I was being con bu the above mentioned company. I order some electronics stuff (entertainment console) and was asked to remit the payment.

They send me the Fedex AWB after the payment and was told to clear their local customer tax. I check with Fedex on the AWB and was told that the AWB is likely to be a fake copy. Fedex had excalate the issue to US head office on the fraud.

I hereby hope you may take note on this person/company advertising their scam in your website for more victims.

Eek, there are some weird symbols in your ad description. So Marketplace didn't read it quite well. Anyways, I have manually fixed it for now. :)

I have to admit the current search is not very intuitive since it only searches based on tags and not the ad title+description. As mentioned on www.phing.com, we are working on a new pHing so we will rather spend time on it. Anyways, the new pHing is launching VERY SOON, so it will yield better search results. Hang on!
