3 years contract is almost the same as a permanent if the benefits are the same.

yah.. but in some contracts... termination involves a cost... some dont...
notice period is a concern as well... if its a few mths notice... will the new employer wait?

more impt is what is in the contract!

dont worry...DSTA dont have crazy working hours one. Everyone leaves on the dot if not earlier one.
about the 3 yr contract...you can quit anytime by giving one month notice. Is not a bond. :o

I believe they employ anyone, just that the pay will be different. NUS/NTU grads will prolly command a better pay.

Do you know what is the starting salary of DSTA for 2nd lower class as of year 2009?
The annual increment is about how much?
I had search in forum that it is about $160-$300 dependent on performance.

Thank you for providing me the relevant info if possible.

Well, if your uni ranking is way better than NUS, i am not surprise if you were offered a better package.

Hi people,

I just went for the campus interview held by DSTA. Does anyone know when the result will typically be out, or does DSTA even bother to inform unsuccessful applicants? I'm really eager to know my status.
