Shall we feedback? My dad's complaining he cannot read the text on green... and I tend to agree - it makes text really difficult to read.

Haha! I thought my mother changed the color, it was bad. I tried to change the color but to no avail. So it was Starhub who changed the color. lmao

i just subscribed last week, i got the new one!!! and my box is a brand new set :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I also just subscribed last week, and they gave me and old and used remote control. It's a "disgrace". :o

You can bring it to StarHub Customer Service Ctr to exchange for the new universal remote. No charge.
You can ask them to give you a copy of the remote manual too. I just changed mine.
Can those who bought the Hubstation change too?

If I lose or damage my remote control for the HubStation, where can I get a replacement? How much will it cost?
You may purchase a new HubStation remote control at $32.10 (with 7% GST) at our Customer Service Centre or Thomson Service Centre.
Found this at the FAQ from Starhub website, which also says warranty for the hubstation does not cover remote control and accessories.
So can the new remote control also be programmed to change input sources for television? That's one button I use regularly to change between dvd player and hubstation signal etc.

i doubt so. They said I can change it FOC as mine is on rental.

After the change to green interface, i sometimes cannot pause or rewind what's showing, the so-called "Live TV". i have to switch to another channel, but that means losing what's buffered.
anyone experience this on their HubStation?
yes. i cant pause any LIVE TV too. wonder whats wrong with the new upgrade

Hey! Starhub downgrade my firmware back to the original version! Sucks! This version is slow and gives me inaccurate time left in my recording!

i think the new upgrade no more LiveTV pause... And I will probably exchange to the universal remote as well... damm i just bought a MIC replacement remote for my Teebee...

haha even u buy the control from them, it is even better than buying those no brand universal control outside... their control is good... even buy to keep for use on any device also good choice.........$32.xx only...........

i hope they fix that stupid bug on demand tv...
any1 encounter? when playing any show on demand tv + fast forward X64 for a while, the screen start flickering/turn black & white.......
findings: it sudden change to NTSC mode for no reason... and somehow that pal got problem.. only switch back to normal channel will solve.... funny...

no need to bother call them already.. change a new box still same...
the reason is wat I said above.... stupid way to handle demand tv
two solution
1. lan lan su ck thumb dun fast forward x64/x32 (16 and below working fine)
2. use tv cable, swap to pal and force your tv to use pal... sucky sound but helps, AV channels quite a lot is auto sensing PAL/NTSC

How come some of you guys cannot pause? I don't have any problems, I can still pause while watching what. Did you guys switch off the main power and on again or not??

Gotch. Every night power off mains switch.
Yesterday (sat) whole day cannot pause, only after midnight start to can pause. Today not yet watch tv :(
Now if i set to "Widescreen" the top and bottom cannot see, machiam like zoom in like dat, have to go back to "standard"

i had encountering flicking screen recently.... is it something wrong at starhub side or not?????????
I also get the flickering screens on my tv, damn it, its irritating when you watch soccer and the screen flicker at the wrong time. All the while i thought its my HDTV, damn starhub digital box.

My HubStation HDD disk is fully filled with the shows that i recorded, wanted to delete them all away, but i couldn't find any short cut or "delete all" functions. Does that means that i have to delete them one by one????

My hubstation hard disk is spoiled, I know it cos it has the click click sound already. There is this msg" There is a problem with the hard disk. Please reformat it". I can do without the hard disk recording but can any kind soul tell me how to get rid of the msg? Call the Starhub CS service, they say dunno. But I know there should be a code or something to get rid of it.
