Any advise and tips for getting 2nd hand DSLR? What to look out for? I'm a newbie, not sure how to check.
1) Shutter Count>
2) Kit Lens condition>
3) sensor condition>
4) if the camera has been drop before

Fungus in the Kit lens and the dirty sensor if i'm most afraid of. If the camera has very high shutter count, what does it means? Other than sending it back to the company to check the shutter count, or to do sensor cleaning or maintaince what else i need to check? As most 2nd hand DSLR are all out of warrantly alreadly.

Don't want to take the risk to spend so much to get a camera and get something which is not in good condition.

Any advise?

Then you are better off with getting a new set.

Mabbe I sounded too straight but.. unless you have somebody experienced and knows what to look out for for you when checking the system, else you can really look for a new set instead.

Try looking at Comex 2007, Nikon booth the package is really good. You will love it.

Finally also I see eye to eye with Erenon! :s13:

I'm sure we agree on other things EJB. Just not on THE ISSUE. Ahem.
