that's the 109E. te 109EP is the one with an extra output. but dun really get what the noise flitering thingy does. like is it better by having longer range or something?

Hi, sorry to hijack the thread, but I was wondering if anyone knew if the HL109EP would be compatible with the older HL105E and HL105EW models?
Thanks in advance!

The noise flitering is to make sure the electronic device that put into the HL109EP built in power socket won't affect the performance of homeplug.

HL109EP only compatible with HL109E. Those with Simple Connect button are compatible with each other. Those dun have Simple Connect one are not compatible with the version with Simple Connect.

That's not a bad price I guess! Does anyone know where I could find the Australian version of it? I'll be visiting Singapore sometime this year, and would prefer to just be able to plug my laptop straight into it, without using a converter to plug it into the wall, and then *another* converter on the pass-through @_@

I remember reading about an offer (advertisement) in the Straits Time for 109E and 109EP a few days ago, but now I can't locate the paper .. I wonder if anyone here has seen it.
If so which shop is is offering them -- $79 and $99 ....
And if anyone know which shop in Sim Lim or Funan has the 109EP model ..
TIA

can this kind of powerplug be installed on a power extender and still works?

Yes, but it was kinda slow for me. Probably "noise" from other stuff sharing the same extender.
