Budget as in how much? I found 1 at Tokyo (Minowa area),
around 2500Yen (30 SGD) for 1 person 1 day.
Maybe you might want to check it out.
Hotel New Koyo - http://newkoyo.com/
I can't confirm the quality though, since i've never been there.
It'll be where im planning to stay though when i begin my trip.
By the way what other budget hotels have you researched?
care to compare notes?

You can search from www.itcj.jp. You can input different budget, area, etc. You also can view the pics of the room etc. But I don't think there is review there.
I always book from www.itcj.jp. My first priority is location as every minute in Japan counts. Second is price and room condition. In my personal opinion, any location near JR loop will be good. Traveling with JR (train on the ground) within Tokyo is cheaper than with the Metro (subway).
