A general salary view of people working in Singapore, irregardless of job or educaton levels.
Your average gross salary for past 1 yr. (your CPF + Bonus or OT)

According to Ministry of Manpower, the average monthly salary of Singapore employees is $3,554 in 2006.

probably because there are many new degree holders in the market, plus income are also increasing??
my take is, no matter what u earn, save at least 10%...and invest them correctly...to generate more income for you.....or at least invest in your financial education usin the 10% to earn more passive income....

Different industry. experience level, educational level. It's only an average.

Does it also show the median monthly salary of sg employees?
Using just the mean (aka average) only may show a skewed result if only a handful earning very high pay while the rest are very low.

The statistics is slightly biased upwards since it is based on employees with CPF. Those part-time workers who don't get CPF are not included.

i think it is just an average. Thats why the richer ppl's salary can offset the poorer's

Remember the top 1% of the population are millionaires with at least 1 million USD in liquidity.
top 10% is earning at least $10k a month
these are all facts
