Try Sabar Menanti II at North Bridge Road, junction of Kandahar Street. That's the more authentic style. I hear Tekka market also got good one!

Yeah that's exactly what I mean by "authentic" - chendol no need so many ingredients. Tastes better when it's simpler.

Kallang baharu hawker centre a stall near the chicken rice stall...benn there for 10 years.

Hollywood's standards dropped after the chatty uncle took over. Anyone knows the background story?

The coconut seems a tad less fragrant, and the red beans seemed to have been reduced. And whats up with cutesy little agar agar in the ice kachang? I remember the previous uncle had very simple, but was superb with his simple ingredients in both the chendol and ice kachang.
