Which blocks my rear view from my rear view mirror. My car is an old car (16 yrs old already). I noticed that this is not a problem with the windscreen of newer cars (assuming coz the windscreen is newer n slicker).
My question is how do I make my windscreen just as slick as that of a new car one to ensure raindrops slide/glide off it gracefully when it rains instead of accumulating on the windscreen? Is there a special polish or wax I can use specifically for this purpose??

You can use products like rainX or any rain repel products. Spray on and wipe off. However, don't expect your rear windscreen to be totally cleared of water, because of the way the air moves over your car, the water droplets on the rear windscreen will not be totally blown away.

wats that? a kinda polish/wax for cars?Yup. Some poeple says it makes the wipers squeaky after a while, but since rear windscreen, not an issue. :D

I dun use RainX on my front windscreen as it make my wipers jerky...

i don't understand why the wiper will become squeaky. think it's just the rubber that's due for change.

rainx..........
after applying rainx, does using the wiper wipe the rainx solution away too?

According to my own experience, using the wiper does wipe away the Rain-X coating. So what I do is try not to use the wiper if the rain is light, maintain travelling speed & the water will slide away.
If heavy rain, then use wiper moderately.
