I'm don't know much about Korean food, but I've been to a couple which I thought was not bad. See Hansang (http://smallpotatoesmakethesteaklookbigger.blogspot.com/2007/07/hansang-square-2.html) and Togi (http://smallpotatoesmakethesteaklookbigger.blogspot.com/2007/02/yogi-11-mosque-street.html).

this is another nice place http://www.jushinjung.com/
been to the branch opp. Haw Par Villa.

the BBQ there is cooked by the staff so u can sit back and relax.
haven't tried the steamboat yet.

though price abit high but it's worth it.

This restaurant is nice, been there last month.

I tried their Spicy beef & vegetable soup,
while my friend tried their Ginseng chicken soup, the rice are stuffed inside the chicken.

Ju Shin Jung has an outlet in the East too.
1018 East Coast Parkway #02-01 (near Burger King)

Huge place. Tried it once...can be pricey (meats $20-35 per order) but if you like Korean BBQ, this might be your thing.

other than jushinhung
for gd ginseng chicken soup can try the one at the top of heren
for bbq meat can try crystal jade kor at taka
for general korea food can try shillawon at suntec skygarden
esp try their porkrib thing damn sweet and addictive

all the above taste quite similar to wat i had in korea.
so should be considered quite authentic.

Oh! I happened to see 辣炒年糕 at Sim Lim Sq Food Court. There is a Korean Stall at the corner, but I was eating the QiJi Nasi Lemak and PoPia that day when I saw the family on the next table eating the Nian Gao. Will try next time.
