I am going to hong kong on 30-12-2007 to 3-1-2008 5d4n for $1489 is it too expensive?

one person i alone..will be staying in largos hotel formerly mayfair garden hotel. includes HK disneyland ticket on 31 dec 2007 countdown.....airport tax...jet star airticket....

its super duper expensive!!! i paid 1600 for 2 ppl 4d3n taking cathay and staying kowloon hotel.

super peak season + no one sharing hotel cost with you

imo very expensive
went in july, iirc $1.7k for 2, fly with cathay, stay in majestic(3 nights) and hollywood(1 night) hotel
2 day disney pass, 1/2 day city tour(i skip)

dynasty... when they had the travel fair... i booked in aug but travel in dec.. i guess that's why cheaper..

The most expensive portion should be the air-ticket.

BTW, which airlines are you taking and the booking class "Example Q,E,Y,K,L"?

i think it's quite expensive.

i'm going on 26 dec to 1 jan, 6 nights, triple sharing, flying with cathay and staying at park hotel.

one person is about $1.3k with tax.

but like the others had said, it's single sharing and super peak season so the price may be justified.

on the high side but since its year end usually hotel rates are higher also you one person. air tickets also higher that period. last i heard largos undergoing some renovations now so just be prepared for some inconvenience, other then that its very conveniently located. enjoy your trip:)
