hi do you have any review for tioman island?

i'm planning on going there.

and is there any tours that you recommend to find it in johor?

is it cheaper?

same here. went for paya beach resort. not the best on the island...but decent enough.

Don't need a tour group to go to Tioman. Easy to to DIY. You get to choose what tyoe of accomadation you want and the activities as well. there are definately better places to stay than Paya beach which is the standard tour package offer. Why not try Salang, ABC.

Try salang beach. There is a chinese restaurant found at salang beach where its food are value for money. =) It does not really cost more than $150/pax to go to tioman for 3d/2n. N do rem to book for a diving trip while u r there. If u r not a diver then opt for easy snorkel session which is equally thrilling.

Bejaya tioman is top class but of course. As like other Bejaya resorts, they r always situated by themselves. Dun expect to stroll to nearby village for kampong food. As for paya n salang, u get to eat street food. There's western, local malay n chinese feast. BBq seafood some more...bejaya is good if u jux wan exp food with golf. =)

The beaches r fine but u can try to canoe ard tioman island if u r confident of ya canoeing and swimming skills. U r sure to find better, nicer patches of beach without anyone to disturb u while u read ya book. Renting a canoe for a full day can be negotiated for ard rm30 which is very very CHEAP! Happy Tioman Trip. :)

any indicative costs of the flight ?? to say Berjaya hotel ??

also are the food there at Tioman .. expensive ??

if i dun dive .. what else can i do there ?? how can i get to the other places if i stay at berjaya

Cannot comment about Berjaya because I did not stay there.

If you are not staying at Berjaya but at other places, food is cheaper and much more variety as there will be plenty of stalls to choose from

You can go snorkelling, island tour, relax at the beach etc

from Berjaya you can take a boat to other places though it will not be cheap.

You take a coach from Singapore to Mersing and from Mersing you buy boat ticket to tioman. Once you get down the bus, touts will come or you can walk to the many tour agencies and buy from them. Easy to get there..
