Hi, do you know how to set this modem to use it's usb to connect to the network? I need to use the ethernet port to connect to my Philips Voip 841 Cordless Phone so need to find out how. Tried to look for solution on the net but no result found.

I'm thinking that most MioTv user might know this because they are using the ethernet port for the TV and USB to connect the PC.

1. Disconnect your ST536v6 from your computer

2. Run the CD-ROM provided and follow the instructions closely

Note: You'll be instructed to install driver for using the USB interface (driver is on the CD-ROM)

1 PC on ethernet, the other on USB think yes.
But since the price of ethernet is so low nowadays, get a switch will allow you to share files over the network.

Can I configure and use Singnet without using the CD? I have a WRT54G previously using MaxOnline.
I find that under Singnet, I can't use DV Travel thru the WRT54G, whereas MOL is OK, and even using M1's broadband also allowed me to use DV Travel without any change.

You dont open it, instead you can burn it on a cd as image.

iso file is actually like a container. If you use winrar, you can see the contents inside it. But in order to burn it as an image (usually bootable), you keep it as ISO.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_image

You must burn the ISO as an image, not treating it like any other file. If you do that, after the burning you can see that ISO is no more there but instead all the contents are there in the disk.

BTW, i find the telnet method is much easier and straight forward. I have this guide from Thos, the modem distributor here:
