Help with starhub maxmobile

Hi. i just got the unlimited maxmobile plan with the huawei e-170 today. the problem is that i keep getting disconnected for no reason.

it's so frequent that i had to reconnect twice while typing up this post.

btw i get between 75% - 95% signal strength so i don't think that's the problem.

anyone else experiencing this? need help badly! thanks

Are you sure you dont have any internet tweaking programs, because if you do, this can create havoc on youy connections.
Also there is uncorfirmed reports that if you are using your 3g modem in an enviroment where there a lot of poeple using 3g handphones, you could experience intermitent connection problems.

One more thing, run an antispyware or antivirus program to see if there is any rouge programs running that is trying to access the internet through the modem without you unaware of it, cos ussually this is the main problem because this maulicious programs does nothing than hogging your broadband connection causing the modem to give up the connection and requesting you to reconnect again.
