Lol that's some requirements... You should just have gotten the Eee PC 701 - only $598 and Youtube works well. Not to mention you can overclock it to 900Mhz as well.

None of the above are good.

im also considering between these 2... but am looking more toward Asus Eee cause of the price factor. the features are not really that important since its going to be a surf on the go kinda usage but some space will be useful.

actually im comparing between the 701 and the 901 or 902.

If you upgrade EEE PC to same capacity as off KJS. May be you will find you are paying the same or higher in term of $$.

However the processor of the Eee PC is much better, and that's something that can't be upgraded.

but how much difference is it gonna make? any detailed factsheets that elaborates on the amount of performance gain when comparing the 2 processors? is there a significant increment in processing power for the Asus which blows the competition away? most likely not.

Well the price definitely blows the competition away - $1K for the KJS vs $600 for the Eee PC.

Of course I'm not avoiding the fact that the KJS does have much more storage space, and it's a tablet UMPC as well.

Better for the point in time only. Processor always get faster and cheaper at next version.

We're just comparing the Eee PC and KJS now. It's been all quiet from KJS so far, even though the Intel Atom is launching. Seems they won't be making an Atom version anytime soon.

faster maybe.. cheaper not necessarily.. look at the price of every new laptop KJS and EEEPC, it is always higher than the older model
