Great and awesome service. Thanks for resurrecting my iPhone after being dead a very long time. I've tried a lot of methods as suggested by forumers from several websites for the past three months, but it only took Peter one night to make it work again. I'm impressed! Keep it up, man!

Highly recommended. I believe his pricing is reasonable, and I can't imagine apple providing a better service!

The postings in this thread are definitely from the customers I help to fixed the iphone. Allow me to explain why some only have 1 posting history.

Some of my customer comes from hardwarezone, some are not. But I would request them to provide feedback in this forum thread. Some of them has taken the trouble to register an account just to post a feedback. I appreciate their afford. Some may not want to and I understand perfectly. Some might not want to use their own account or not post at all as it may affect re-sale value of their phone.

Also look at the registration date of the accounts, some has been registered months or years before they took up my service, I hope I could be that far-sighted to register so many accounts so early for feedback purpose. If that is the case, I would have make it more real by using these fake account to post freely in other threads in order to increase the post counts.

I treasure any feedback whether the person has many postings or even 1 posting history.

For anyone looking to repair iphone, do feel free to contact me at 88iphone88@gmail.com and discuss with me and you can decide whether I can be trustable. I will not pester you even if you finally decides not to take up my service.

Hi people, i recently did a repair with 88iphone88. My sister dropped her iphone 3G, thus her iphone's glass cracked real bad, stumbled upon this thread and contacted 88iphone88. Met him somewhere along the east side. Total duration was just a few days. Well, it was worth the wait, when my sister collected her iphone 3G today, the glass screen was replaced professionaly, superb job & reasonable price. I'd reccomend 88iphone88's services to anyone. I'm really pleased with the fine job he did with the replacement. Nice guy btw, very humble, not like those handphone shop owners who will quote you unreasonable prices, people, please look for 88iphone88 if you ever need repairs for your iphone 3G, well he will be the first person i'll look for in the future if i ever need any iphone 3G repairs. Cheers!

hi, i need some help here.

if imported iphone is being registered using itunes to USA. will it lock and only recognise that particular PC/laptop used to register? resulting in the device not able to be recognised everytime it is plugged into other computers?

My 1st Gen iPhone had been dropped and as a result it no longer rang when calls or messages came in. Most annoying! The problem was that I could not find anyone who repaired iPhones in Malaysia (where I live) but found a link to Peter via Google. And so I contacted him and decided to make a trip down to Singapore one weekend.

Because I only had one day in Singapore, Peter was most accommodating. Everything was arranged and confirmed before I left KL. I met him on *SUNDAY* morning AND he had the phone in perfect working order that evening. :s13: Everything was exactly as had been pre-arranged and there were no surprises. Just the way I like it!

The only thing you should be aware of is the way Peter works. He meets you in a car park, completes a form with serial number, condition of the phone etc which you keep. When the work is complete, you sign off and the form which is returned to him. I have to admit that for a few minutes after handing over my phone I was left wondering if I had just exchanged an expensive electronic gadget for a piece of paper...

Having said that, I would nevertheless heartily recommend Peter's services to you. Especially if you enjoy a bit of "cloak-and-dagger" along with the experience. :D

And yes, I did create my account just to leave my feedback in this thread. That is why I only have (and will probably only ever have) a posting history of 1.

Dude. This guy is e real deal. Not to sound too flatterring, but i hated my 2nd hand bought from this forum iphone. Coz speakers buzz, earphone jack spoiled cannot detect my earbuds and perpetually in silent mode since it thinks theres a jack still stuck in itwhen it doesn't. It all happened 2 or 3 days aft i bought mine and e guy who sold it to me refused to do an exchange or refund whatsoever and gave e excuse tat he was helping his customer to sell and couldnt contact him back aft he passed him e money. He also said during my test when he sold it to me it was fine so it wasn't his fault. I was super pissed off as i was stuck with a junk which cost almost $500. So I looked arnd for a solution and tried everything like cleaning my jack etc etc and came across this thread. Comparing prices his was cheapest. So i went to look for him and he solved my problems within a night! I waited under his block for a couple of hrs and poof, my no warranty iphone is ok! Very thankful to this guy who made something i really hated into something i truly liked. n it's still ok aft so long. no hiccups whatsoever.

Now im writing this long essay so that iphone owners who have their no warranty spoiled iphones not to be scared dealing with this guy coz he's trustworthy. Yes i was scared too passing such an expensive toy to him for a piece of paper. but its got his contact numbers n everything. so it was groundless. Juz trying to help e iphone community here so that they will have no doubts in dealing with him. Cheers! :s12:

I read through this thread before approaching Peter, hence I'm giving back by posting some fair comments!

Peter gave me some really fair advice on the repairs required for my 2G Iphones screen. He was really patient as my phone was really busted due to me trying to pry it opened. In the end, changed the rear cover and LCD screen and is pleasantly pleased with the results without paying exorbitant prices.

Thanks Peter for the good work, and the least i can do is write him a little 'appraisal'.

Cheers

I'm keen on a battery replacement on my iPhone 3g. Do you do battery replacement? Also, if you do, do you replace it with brand new batteries that are original or are they 3rd party (meaning that the battery is not the same as that used by apple in iPhones)? I had a very positive experience dealing with Peter today. The story is I cracked my iphone glass panel and so after searching for someone to repair my iphone on Google, I found this thread and proceeded to contact Peter through email. I met up with him and handed him my iphone after he showed me the new glass panel that he will be installing, afterwhich he messaged me 2hrs later to inform me to colllect the iphone. So after I reached the area, I was pleased to see that my iphone was in a very satisfactory condition with the new glass panel installed, the new glass panel felt the same as my old glass panel. Overall it was a very good experience with him dealing with him, I will recommend my friends to him if they need any maintaince on their Iphone.

I dropped my 3G iPhone (out of warranty, had red LSI indicators) and it had a white screen with green lines running down it. I tried all the solutions of doing a system restore, keeping the home and power button key depressed, and even tried shaking it (yes there was a slight rattling noise!). The phone was still responsive to the touch and could still receive calls, just that nothing showed up on the screen at all. I called Peter, and he gave me a few steps to troubleshoot the phone before identifying the problem and repaired it for me. I was hesitant in the beginning, of handing my phone over to a complete stranger at a public place, but he put my mind at ease with his professionalism of handling the transaction. I highly recommend his service. Thanks Peter!

hi, i very impress with so many peoples comments. however i have a feeling that something is strange. most comments sound like they are written from the same guy and those user accounts, they only post one or two post(s). doesn't it sound any strange to anyone? pardon as i just feel that it is very strange

i agree......

My explanation for those who doubt a few feedbacks posted here at page 3. and I copy it below for those who missed it.

-----------------

For anyone looking to repair iphone, do feel free to contact me at 88iphone88 @gmail.com and discuss with me and you can decide whether I can be trustable. I will not pester you even if you finally decides not to take up my service.

I sent in my iPhone 3G with a partially unresponsive touchscreen to Peter a few days ago. However, upon much testing Peter found out that it wasn't a touchscreen problem but a faulty logic board. Although he didn't manage to help fix my iPhone (which I eventually managed to exchange a set with SingTel), I felt that he was highly professional and that you could trust your iPhone to him for repair if needed.

Initially I had doubts after looking at some posts in this thread about why the good feedback were mostly left by users with one or two posts, but my experience with him tells me that your phone will be in good hands with Peter.

This guy is the real deal indeed.

I had not one, but two, spiderweb cracks on my iPhone. I found this thread and, seeing the many positive reviews, decided to contact Peter to get my iPhone fixed.

The entire experience was professional and reassuring. He inspected my phone, advised me on possible complications and also promised to also check the phone for possible water damage. All without me saying a word! It was a very pleasant experience, especially compared against the Singtel-Apple experience where they just shrug and say you'll have to buy a new phone and furthermore, the warranty is void.

The handover – which even included documentation, heh – and repair process was completed within a day.

Yesterday, I woke up to a cracked iPhone. I went to bed the same day with an iPhone that looks and feels as good as new!

Fantastic stuff. Thanks, Peter!

p.s. Yes, I know some people in this thread wonder why there are so many posts praising Peter, from people who only have one or two posts on the forum. Well, the reason, for me, is simple. I normally never bother with posting on forums, but when I have as positive an experience as I did – doing this is the least I could do. The fact that Peter's good value and good work makes people like me bother registering and posting here speaks volumes. Recommended!

My iPhone 3G LCD Panel is damaged due to drop with impact.

Like many others, I initially doubted the reliability of this thread. At the end of the day, I am glad that I contacted Peter and he fixed my iPhone.

The prices he charged is reasonable and the overall experience is good. Once again, thank you Peter.

Yes, I am a newbie to hardwarezone but rest assured it is a real deal.:s13:

My gf dropped her iphone 3gs and got her screen "webbed"!!! Arrgghh.. Called and thereafter went down to Starhub Service Centre who know NUTS about iphone repairs and all, quoted me such a high amount of $1400. Yah.... That's right... Told them off sarcasticly and thank GOD there's 88iphone88@gmail.com.

Called him that day at 7pm and bargained my way to get it fixed that very day. Very kind of him to meet me up at 11pm and it was done by 12am. Talked to him about iPhone stuffs, etc. Nice, friendly, humble guy. Me and my gf would like to thank you once agin for your service!

Superbly done!

BTW, for those of you who thinks that everything here sounds fishy simply due to the "1 or 2 posts from reviewers". Just ask yourself this qn. Do you think he has got too much free time to create multiple email accounts and/or HWZ accounts just to "punk" others? If your answer is still yes, then i wish you all the best finding alternatives i.e. cheaper and better quality services in Singapore.

AND TO 88iphone88@gmail.com, sorry for the late post. :)
