Can anyone recommend a good motion-activated capable softare using a
mini surveillance camera for home use. Stand-alone Multiplex DVR is still expensive. Plan to use a USB TV Tuner or pci-x card input to PC for this purpose seem feasible at this point in time. TIA.

Is it possible to use a hdd DVR that we use for entertainment and recording tv programs and double up as a DVR for security surveillance purposes.

unless DVR can accept external trigger,.,

anyway DVR box is very cheap now...
