Hi guys, currently I'm trying to learn Excel programming but I do not know what do I need to learn/where to learn it from.
Can anyone advise on maybe where I can learn/what books are available in the library so that I can read how to do it? Do I need to learn visual basic?

what are you going to do with excel ? name some examples.
Visual Basic excel is quite a powerful yet simple programming language, learn it to assist you with dealing with excel problems. Could solve most problem depending on your knowledge.
Excel Programming (i assume you are talking about using formula in the excel cells) is
simple and could perform some simple requirements.
I would recommend you to learn vb excel, note that it is slightly diff from VB. So whenever you are looking for resources on google search for "vb excel" or "visual basic excel".

forgotten to mention vb excel can do alot of things thus learning everything is quite demanding.
Give yourself some goals and try to accomplish that instead.
eg. I want to learn how to read data from multiple excel sheets
task: search for clues online and try to create that application
eg. I want to create a simple vb excel GUI
task: search for clues online and try to create that application
