try the dahon bikes. they are really cool and of quite good quality. I have a dahon mup8 and a strida 3. I got my dahon in China as i used to work there, it is also cheaper.

Try brompton, it is really a compact and light bike when fold up unlike Dahon which still looks big when fold up but its not cheap!
Or u can look at Flamingo bike which is a clone of brompton by taiwanese company which is cheaper but the weight will be slightly heavier. They also come with good gears and shifter meaning slope will not be a very serious problem when u encountered.
One east coast shop did sell this bike. U can buy and take a MRT back. No problem at all..

I just bought this foldable bike from a local guy who imports from China. Price is only $260. It works very well for me. It has the disc brakes unlike other foldable bike that has the rim brakes, or those that has the disc brakes but are too expensive for me to afford eg Strida. Think it is a very good deal.

Hey Mophie, you can try his website triderbike.com, he said it was under construction that time. Anyway give him a ring on his mobile 98318480. You can go his house to see the bike before you place order with him.
