Has anyone here send their laptop to asus service centre before? I am quite piss off with their service. I bought my laptop for a few days only and it started giving me problems already. So i send it for servicing on the monday last week. The counter told me they will take 3 - 5 days to repair it. So i call them on the tuesday this week and the person on the phone ask me for my info to check the status, and he will call me back after that. Ok so i waited the whole day and he nv call back. This morning i tried to call and the person ask me for my info and say he will call back. Again, he never call back. So i call at 6plus and a new guy pick up the phone, he say this morning that guy should be his colleage, so he ask me for my particulars again and say he will call back in 10 mins. However, he never call back again.

I am quite piss off after that, all i want is to know what is my status of my laptop and i cant get a reply from them. somemore my laptop is only a few weeks old only, very scare they never take care of it..gonna try again tml, if still the same result think i will need to go down there myself

Exactly!!!

Hey guys...

My 8day old notebook ran into an LCD problem, and I sent it in to the repair shop.
The engineers there assured me that the notebook would be ready in 3-5 days time.

Well... it's been 10days... and it's not back with me yet.

The excuses I've been getting are "It's still under testing."

For crying out loud, it's just an LCD screen. Just change the damn thing and return my notebook back to me...

Other brands (I won't mention which here... maybe in the next post) change the LCD on the spot. If Asus wants to retain customers, I think it'd better retrain its staff.

If you guys are looking to waste money on a piece of junk, and want to wait forever to get it back from the repair shop, then BUY Asus.
If you guys want to actually use what you've spent your hard-earned cash on.. then go someplace else.

Asus' customer & repair service is terrible!

[QUOTE=jiekai;32052087]Exactly!!!

Hi Everyone,

Something to share and I'm really agree with what jiekai has posted here about this $@*&*^%# asus f*** laptop brand.

I would warn everyone who ever read this to take note that not be fool its beauty and outlook in their Laptop design , I think it is truly an illusion and very deceptive.

I've bought 1 U6 and 1 G1S laptop , I was really fool by the beautiful outlook of the U6 laptop during the IT show and I was fool enough to bought it.

I thought that is a very high end elegant design and durable notebook , this piece of junk gives me the pain in the a** .

I have been to the Service centre at the adelphi building to service my u6 laptop before and I have to wait god d*mn long about 1 and a half hours.

I have sent my U6 laptop for repair for 4 times and every time the hard drive gave me problem.

They changed my Hard drive for 3 times and I lost all my stuff everytime they do it, now I won't dare to put many of my stuff into the Laptop it is so scary.

It cause me so much trouble to going down there it is very far from my home i've to resetup everything and I spend Hell lot of time doing so.

I think their receptionist were not so IT knowledgeable and rude , I have a very bad experience with one of the receptionist who serve me.

The guy with square top hair style and big protruding eyes was very rude in his tone of voice and he seems to be very unhappy to serve me , I wish I could throw my laptop at his face at that time.

Another Laptop I bought is the G1s which I bought for gaming , it often hangs and gave me blue screen of death which kills my mood.

It makes my blood boiled every time the d#mn gaming Laptop breaks down , I remember it took them almost 2 months to fix it.

I have call the service centre almost every week to check for status of my G1s and I got so flare up when they say they do not have the parts for the repair.

It took them so d*mn long to get the parts and I wonder their parts are shipped from the Mars or the Jupiter.

I recall last time I call them before I get back notebook was the same as what the jiekai has experiencing them told me my laptop is still under testing or either diagnostic.

I have been wondering they have so many staff and it takes them a few days to test my G1s gaming laptop is really ridiculous.

Me and my friend have very bad experience when we call the service centre and the operators who answer the calls were very rude in their tone of voice.

I remember there was a time my friend try to call the service centre and he can never get thru and need to call the asus taiwan in order for them to answer his call.

I think complaint should be make to main branch asus taiwan in order to get them to work and I think the service centre in singapore can not make any promise to get things to be done up fast.

Alright ,all I want to say is I am also very disppointed with the service that asus has provided me in their warranty... PHEW!

I would advise ppl who own asus laptop not be soft hearted and give in to what the receptionist say when you send your notebook for servicing, they will always deceive you with a lot of excuses.

Do you have to 1) bring up an old thread 2) cross-post?
