Received the case couple of days ago. It basically a hard plastic cover for the iPhone protecting the back and the buttons. However, the front is left open for better interactivity with the screen so get yourself a good screen protector. I recommend the Power Support Anti-Glare screen protector.

Installation of the case is fairly straight forward. Put your phone on one of the piece and snap the 2 pieces together. The phone is held tightly in place. There are also 2 cushion-like pieces in the case to hold the phone firmly. Holding the case in your hand, its very comfortable. There is a grip for you at both the side of the case you it wouldnt feel like the phone is gonna slip off.

The base does add some bulk not not too much. Also, its completely transparent so you can show off your back of the phone unlike other cases. The plastic is of good quality and will withstand knocks but for drops, depending on the height, it may or may not crack. There are full access to all the buttons and there is also a dock adapter if you are using a dock for your iPhone since your iPhone will not fit in with the case on. Removal of the case is also ease. Just pry the top right corner(the corner nearest to the power button) using your fingers. Slowly apply pressure till it comes open.

Now on to the negative aspect. The price. $46, from Apple SG, is a little expensive seeing that you can get hard plastic covers for other models under $20. However, these cases dont offer the protection of accessibility of the Agent18. It's apparently selling for $35 at Funan according to one of the forum members but not sure exactly which shop. You got to get a screen protector to protect the screen adding more cost.

Overall, its a fantastic case if you dont mind the price. It offers good protection from everyday knocks and may also help out in case of a fall. Not to mention it barely adds any bulk to the phone. If you are looking for a case for the iPhone 3G that does not add much bulk but allows you to showcase it in all its glory, look no further.

Sorry about the quality. Used my 2G iPhone to take them. Refer to the Apple store link for higher quality pics. :)

Same here, i use mine naked with a screen protector.

I had an Agent 18 for my 5G iPod last time, the screen part disappointed me, the surfaces were not even, resulting in colour dispersion (like a prism).

Actually, if you really want to keep the slim profile, have some minimal (scratch) protection and still see the back, try the Power Support Clear Air Jacket.

Other than the fact it already comes with 2 good screen protectors (one clear, one matte), it's minimalistic enough to not add much bulk.
