Hi there,
With regards to HL108E not compatible with HL109E (or HL109EP & HL109RN), please do come down to our Customer Care Centre and we'll be glad to do the firmware changes for you.

Just to remind, under no circumstance, are you to do this upgrade DIY. This is because, Aztech ships more than half a million Homeplugs a year. And some of them are OEM/ODM for other brands (especially to US & Europe), with customized firmwares. Our biggest fear is that end-users like you yourself, manage to find firmwares on other portals and DIY with negative results.

So if I come down with my HL108E and HL109E, and you guys update the firmware, both the homeplugs should be able to work together?
Is there any charges?
